GIG HISTORY

2010

January 29 th (Saturday)  LegendZ  will perform at the Villiage Inn in Corning.

2009

December 4th (Friday)  LegendZ  performed at Corning Incorporated's AMS holiday event at the Beautiful Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen NY. Neil Partdrige, one of the groups employees took the pictures that you can see at the following link (PICTURES). This was a fun gig and the stage was fantastic.

December 5th (Saturday)  LegendZ  performed at Cap'n Morgans on Bridge Street in Corning. We had a great crowd. Bruce introduced the request tent cards for the tables and people took advantage of it with many requests from Werewolves of London to Hotel California. One of our partons happened to be coming into the bar when we started to play Hotel California and mentioned to us that he was recently in a coma and when he came out of the coma, Hotel California was playing on the radio. He found it almost an almost errie coincidence. He and his parntner stayed on for the remainder of the evening. (PICTURES).

September (Saturday)  LegendZ  performed for the second consecutive year for the local Buddy Walk. This years performance was at Elmira's Eldridge Park. It was quite warm and turned out to be a great day for all. (PICTURES)

June (Saturday)  LegendZ  performed for the fifth consecutive year at Big Flats Community Days. The week was full for Tom, Johannes, and Christine who donated thier time and the band's sound gear for a choir presentation from some of the local schools on Thursday evening, the annual high school rock band jam fest, and then LegendZ on Saturday. It made for a busy and hectic week. The weather was pretty nice (PICTURES).

April (Saturday) LegendZ  performed at the first annual Bag the Blues fund raiser for the Tanglewood Nature Center at the American Legion in Big Flats. This was a formal event with music all evening. Silent auctions and raffles were held throughout the evening. Tanglewood raised a good deal of money during this event. Thanks for all that supported the event. (PICTURES)

2008

April 11 th (Friday)  LegendZ  performed at Holmes Plate on Corning's Historic's Market Street. This was our first gig there and turn out was great.

April 25rd (Friday)  LegendZ  performed for the second time at Holmes Plate on Corning's Historic's Market Street.

May 9th (Friday)  LegendZ  performed for the third time at Holmes Plate on Corning's Historic's Market Street. We were able to open the large front windows which allowed people to easily hear us play from the street. We even had a Jembe' drummer stop and jam with us for a few minutes.

May 23rd (Friday)  LegendZ  performed for the forth time at Holmes Plate on Corning's Historic's Market Street. This was during the area's annual LPGA event. We once again had the front window open and this was even better than the first time we had the window open. We had people dancing on the street and a great crowd inside.

June 7th (Saturday)  LegendZ  performed at the annual Riverfest event on Grove street in Elmira. We were right on the river (you can see it in the background in our pictures). This was a fun event even though it was extremely HOT (PICTURES)!

2007

September 16th (Saturday)  LegendZ  performed for 2007 Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Picnic at Harris Hill in Big Flats. It was a beautiful day and the crowd was fantasitc. We appreciate the oppurtunity to perform at such a diverse event. Click on "this link" to view the CCA newsletter. PICTURES

August 25th (Saturday)  LegendZ  performed for the second consecutive year at the Tanglewood Brews' N Bears fund raiser. The crowd was fantastic even if the weather did not totaly cooperate. We were right in the middle of a song when a rather violent, but thankfully, short lived storm popped up. This only dampened things for a short time and the crowd was soon again in full swing singing and drinking. PICTURES

June 16 th (Saturday)  LegendZ  performed for the third consecutive year at the Big Flats Community Days opening for a Buffalo based Beatles Tribute band called Beatle Magic. What a day. The weather was perfect and the show was great. We had lots of great feedback including the following quote from our event contact; "(Tom) Thank you and LegendZ for entertaining us on Saturday afternoon.  Your sounds and song selections were just what we wanted.Very Very enjoyable" - Marcia Hudock - Big Flats Community Days Board of Director. It was once again a pleasure to entertain at Community Days and 2007 was a banner year - what a fantastic turn out all three days of the event.

Also, it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with Paul and George from Beatle Magic. These guys put on a VERY NICE show, so if you get a chance to see them, you should!

June 9th th (Saturday)  LegendZ  performed at graduation party for Rachel Fairchild-Law. It was a small gathering in the backyard of the family residence. Congratulations goes out to Rachel who received an official set of signed LegendZ drum sticks. Joe could not make it, so once again, Billy Wilson stepped in to help us as he always does. Billy is truly appreciated and a great friend.

June 2nd (Saturday)  LegendZ  once again rocked the house at the Snooty Pig Irish Bar on Corning's historic Market Street. This was our second gig there and we had a fantastic crowd of friends, old and new. Thanks goes out to all of you who attended. You are appreciated.

May 27th (Saturday)   A subset of LegendZ  ,Joe, Bruce, and Tom performed for the second year at Aaron's Tasty Brew party. This is a nicely planned and executed, invitation only event where some of the locals share and exchange thier favorite home brews and other non-domestic brews. We opened for another local up and coming band called "Push Dawn" who has a chick fiddle player who is awesome. The rest of the band ain't too bad either.

February 18 th (Sunday)  LegendZ  hosted a benefit for a friend of Tom and Yo's on February, 18th at the Corning Union Hall. The benefit raised a ton of funds for Jeff Knowles and we were happy to be part of it. Melissa opened the show with several of her original works followed by Joe's Garage, a nice three piece who have been together forever. All did an outstanding job. We thank all of you who supported Jeff during this event. (PICTURES)

2006

September 21th (Friday)  LegendZ  played the Centerway stage on Corning's Historic market. It was a chilly night, but our friends and families came out to warm up the night. Christopher, once again, wowed the crowd with his harmonica during "Last Dance with Mary Jane." Thanks goes out to all who stopped by to see us. (PICTURES)

September 15th (Friday)
 LegendZ

rocked the house at the Snooty Pig on Corning's market street. The crowd was AWESOME!!! Thanks for your support and we look forward to entertaing you again soon at the Snooty Pig.

September 9th (Saturday)  LegendZ provided entertainment at the Tanglewood Nature Center's 5th annual Bears and Brews fund raiser in Big Flats from 5 till 8. A little rain did not keep the crowd from sucking down alot of beer and wings. LegendZ rocked the night. It was a blast! We look forward to helping this worth while fundraiser out next year and to become regulars at other Tanglewood events. For all of those that came out, LegendZ and Tanglewood thanks you! (PICTURES)

June 17th 2006 LegendZ once again performed at the Big Flats Community Days event. It was a bit warmer this year from 12 to 5. A great crowd joined us under the shaded tent (kind of a captive audience with the sun and heat that day.) Melissa Zajicek filled the breaks with some fantastic original piano music and made the Star Gazette because of it. (PICTURES)

June 2nd and June 3rd 2006 LegendZ played back to back shows at St’ Mary Our Mother’s church festival in Horseheads New York on. These were fantastic events for us with a good turn out and great response from our fans. Once again Christopher Coluccio jammed with us and his harp (that’s a harmonica) on “Last Dance with Mary Jane”. Melissa Zajicek played her original piano music and sang during the breaks. (PICTURES)

February 25th 2006 LegendZ hosted a benefit for Ivett Hogan who suffered a brain aneurism several months ago. This was the largest show that LegendZ has ever played. There were approximately 600 in attendance with over 1000 attending the benefit over the course of the day. Ivett’s son, Conner, played two songs with his band, Complex 3. For sixth graders, these kids did an amazing job! It is my understanding that this benefit raised over fifteen thousand dollars. Great job by the committees who put this together and thanks to Lynne McGinnis for hooking this up. Dan could not make this show, so a stand in, Alfonso Casio joined in with his unique classical style and helped make this show a success. (PICTURES)

2005

September  18th, 2005 from 12 - 6 LegendZ hosted a benefit for Thersa Gush who battled cancer and ended up with enormous debt as a result. LegendZ once again took the stage at the Corning Union Hall to honor this great person and helped her battle her next demon, her debt and helped her raise some funds. Platnium joined LegendZ for this event and helped rock the afternoon with tunes. Thanks Lori!!! (PICTURES)

JULY 30th 2005 Johannes (Yo) hosted a birthday party at his country home for his mother, Helga (she turned a young 70 during her visit here from Germany. The entire band was present and we played a hell of a show with guest performers Vitor Schneider, Tommy Zajicek (TC) and a very special appearance by Bruce’s young son, Christopher, who jammed with his old man and the rest of the band by playing harmonica for “Last Dance.” He did a FANTASTIC job that earned him an official band du-rag. Helga was given a set of signed LegendZ drumsticks as a birthday present. (PICTURES)

JULY 16th 2005 LegendZ played another graduation gig for Amanda Shappee. It was hot, hot, hot (I mean the temperature)! This time Bruce was missing. And even though we had a few setbacks, we went on to rock into the night. Congrats Amanda!!!

JULY 9th 2005 LegendZ played a graduation gig for a small crowd at Martin Sala’s residence for his beautiful daughter Rebekka. Dan was missing, but the gig was still a huge success. Congrats Rebekka!!! (PICTURES)

JUNE 16th 2005 LegendZ played our best yet at the Big Flats Community days on June 16th 2005 . The weather was a bit rainy, but the turn out was still great. Then on June 16th LegendZ played the Big Flats Community Days opening night. This was quite an experience. Billy Wilson lended his gear and expertise for running the sound system and the show was a great success. Thanks from all of the band goes out to Billy. (PICTURES)

JUNE 3rd 2005 - LegendZ played a church festival on the 3rd of June at the St. Mary Our Mother church annual festival. LegendZ rocked into the rainy night, but the turn out was still excellent. (PICTURES)

MARCH 21st 2005 - LegendZ played at a benefit for Nancy Frataranglo on March 20th at the Corning Union Hall from 3:00 to 4:30 thanks to the host band Sam Pallet and Mike Giannoni. The show was a great success. The benefit raised ~11K to help Nancy with her medical bills. Nancy has since gone to a better place and our thoughts of her will always be with us and our prayers are with family. (PICTURES)

2004

DECEMBER 31st, 2004 (New Years Eve) Z, McG, Tommy Z and Yo played a show at Yo's country home in Corning NY on New Years Eve. It was loud and rockin'. Nancy Schermerhorn joined in and helped us sing. She has a great voice. (PICTURES)

DECEMBER 18th, 2004 Z, McG, and Tommy Z played at the Clemens Center with special guests Lonnie Reid on lead guitar and Billy Wilson on bass. This show was a half time event for the cast and crew of the New Heights Dance Theatre who did a fantastic job of performing "The Nut Cracker In Motion." (PICTURES)
